Shlomo Weber

Shlomo Weber is a Russian-born US professor and economist. Weber earned a master degree in mathematics from the Moscow State University in 1971, and the Ph.D. in mathematical economics at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel, in 1979.

He taught in various universities in Europe, Asia, and North America, and he currently serves as the Dedman Trustee Professor of Economics at the Southern Methodist University in Dallas, US, and the PINE Foundation Visiting Professor of Economics at the New School of Economics, Moscow, Russia.
He has published more than a hundred articles and books in journals on economics and on political science. His main research interests are game theory and political economy.
