Ignacio Lago

Ignacio Lago is a professor of political science at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona, Spain) and ICREA Academia Researcher. His research interests include electoral systems, federalism, political behaviour and party politics.

He has published in Public Opinion Quarterly, European Journal of Political Economy, European Journal of Political Research, Electoral Studies, Party Politics and British Journal of Political Science. His latest books are Multilevel Electoral Politics: Beyond the Second-Order Election Model (OUP), The Oxford Handbook of Spanish Politics (OUP) and Handbook on Decentralization, Devolution and the State (Edward Elgar). He is currently the Chief Editor of Frontiers in Political Science. Elections and Representation and Associate Editor of the International Journal of Public Opinion Research.
